Position Overview:
This position fulfills a critical administrative role in the ministry’s ability to fulfill our mission to “be a catalyst to equip followers of Jesus to be Romans 12 disciple-makers.”
As part of this mission, LOTE provides training to pastors and marketplace leaders around the world. Through 2024, LOTE has served over 300,000 pastors and church leaders from 18 countries with in-person training.
The person in this role will be a highly detail-oriented manager with a passion to provide discipleship resources to different language groups around the world. This position will develop and manage a translation and design process for books, curriculum, training and participant manuals, and media files; as well as marketing and corporate collateral.
This position reports to the Director of Operations, International.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Translation. In collaboration with Regional Directors find, recruit and manage contractor translators and proofreaders. Build a high capacity and reliable team. Using English masters, work with translators and proofreaders to create a new “unit of 1” print-ready resource in other languages. Ensure quality control and quality assurance processes. Liaise with our Product Development department on editorial matters, as needed.
2. Design. In collaboration with Regional Directors, find, recruit and manage contractor designers. Build a high capacity and reliable team. Using English master designs, recruit designers who are highly skilled and can layer in translated content into English master designs. Ensure quality control and quality assurance processes. Liaise with Marketing department on creative design matters, as needed.
3. Internal Customer Service. Deliver files to Regional Directors, as requested in a timely fashion; provide support to Regions until the resource has been printed/produced. In other words, ensure the “hand off” is successful. Ensure quality control of finished product.
4. Financials. Negotiate and process compensation for all translation contractors, ensuring timely payment with the Finance department.
5. Catalogue. Ensure all translated resources (final and production files) are cataloged digitally and assessable to team members; collect adequate samples of all translated books, physical curriculum, and ensure they are available for use, as needed.
Qualifications Required of This Position:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not essential. Prior experience in a Christian ministry setting (501c3 or church) is preferred, but not essential.
Skills:
o Prior experience in translation is required.
o Be detail-oriented; does not tolerate, but enjoys detail work.
o Patient, yet resilient personality that can navigate multiple cultures and work styles accomplishing organizational goals.
o Has a bias for working quickly, but a higher bias for quality control.
o Must be a highly capable technology user.
o Solid, clear writing ability for internal communication.
· Technology: Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) required. Knowledge of inDesign preferred, but not essential. Asana project management software, or experience in project management applications, highly desired.
· Location: We prefer this position to work in our Duluth, GA office as a hybrid position, however, remote work is possible for an exceptional candidate.
· Must have ability to travel on occasion, mostly in the United States.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a professional, except position with a starting salary commensurate with experience. Merit increases provided on a yearly basis, if available. Competitive health and retirements benefits are included.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
