Job Description

This position provides administrative support for smooth and efficient functioning which includes support and assistance in the administration of services to children receiving services from Imua Family Services under the direction of the Program/Clinical Director. The position provides excellent customer services skills, working with our clients and families to schedule appointments and follow through. This position provides support in compiling data necessary to create accurate reports and billing to the Department of Health Early Intervention Section, Medicare, private and federal medical insurance and various funding sources. Thus, providing information to staff, clients, visitors and callers as well as relieves other staff of clerical work and minor administrative and business details by performing essential duties and responsibilities. The position works to support other program professionals in accordance with the Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience with 1 to 5 years related work experience and/or training preferred.

Exceptions to these qualifications based on combination of education and experience requirements may be approved by the Executive Director upon receipt of approval by the appropriate State of Hawaii agency.
