Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced HR leader to join a strong nonprofit organization in Madison. The HR Business Partner will oversee the HR function and ensure organizational compliance. Responsibilities:
Assist in hiring and training new staff
Coordinate and oversee policies, recruitment, employee benefits, risk management, and employee records
Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations and adapt HR policies as necessary
Stay updated on trends and changes in HR, talent management, and employment law
Work with senior leadership to understand and implement organization’s staffing, recruiting, and retention strategy
Administer human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, occupational health and safety; and training and development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
At least 5 years of strong HR experience
Knowledge of employment-related laws and labor regulations
Proficient with MS Office Suite, HRIS and talent management systems
Exceptional communication, negotiation and leadership skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
SHRM-CP or PHR certifications are highly desirable
