JOB TITLE: President and CEO
REPORTS TO: The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism, Inc.’s Board of Directors
MAIN FUNCTION:
The President/CEO is responsible for and oversees all administrative and financial aspects of corporate operations and programs including Advance Academy, Advocacy Program, and programs developed in the future. Successful management of budgeted revenues and expenditures is a critical performance component.
Key Job Responsibilities
Takes to heart our mission to serve and assist special needs children and families, particularly those affected by autism.
- Provide thoughtful and visionary executive leadership that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the Board of Directors.
- Take the lead in developing and implementing the Strategic Plan through innovative and evidence-based thinking.
- Develop, monitor, and enforce Policies, Procedures, and Protocols as established in collaboration with the Board of Directors and senior management.
- Manage and motivate employees and set the overall tone of the organization.
- Oversee financial operations of the Center in collaboration with staff and the Board Treasurer.
- Procure, authorize, and manage corporate revenues and expenses, ensuring all financial, audit, and submission deadlines are met.
- Broaden revenue streams by identifying and pursuing additional sources of revenue through grant writing and other modes of application and ensure that all grant deliverables are met or exceeded.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and administrative oversight of organization’s personnel.
- Negotiate, execute, and monitor all contracts in consultation with the Board, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with and report regularly to the Board providing accurate and current information about corporate finances, programs status, legal and institutional issues, etc.
- Liaison between the Board of Directors and MRCA staff to develop plans, strategies, and implementation of policy & procedures for programs and services.
- Promote and encourage community awareness, develop partnerships and collaborations with existing community agencies and resources to provide services and programs. Initiate, cultivate, and extend relationships with the organization’s portfolio of individual, foundation, and corporate supporters.
- Ensure the organization’s financial stability and sustainability by maintaining healthy cash flow and adequate reserves.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with emphasis in Non-profit Business Management
- 5 years senior-level management experience in a non-profit corporation.
- Has demonstrated proficiency in effective organizational leadership, communication, data and financial analysis, and strategy-building skills.
- Grant writing experience preferred.
This is a full-time position. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

MRCA’s Advance Academy (AA), southeast Georgia's only accredited, year-round day school for children with autism, began its 23rd school term in August. We serve southeast GA regionally through Outreach and Advocacy, providing direct & instructional support to families, children, self-advocates, educators & other professionals. MRCA has provided support and instruction to 7,000+ families & individuals.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
